Rise Nano Optics Announces Breakthrough in Nanomaterials Driving Major Production Efficiency Gains

Doubles Production Capacity in 7- Hour Cycle, Enabling Efficient, Global Scale Potential

Rise Nano Optics Inc. (“Rise” or the “Company”), a health-technology innovator specializing in nano-optic solutions to prevent vision stress and eye disease, is pleased to announce a significant breakthrough in its proprietary research and development program, achieving transformative improvements in production efficiency and scalability.

Production Efficiency Highlights

  • 100% increase in lens units produced per 7-hour cycle
  • Production capacity expanded to support tens of thousands of high-precision lenses per setup
  • Rapid replication model, enabling deployment of scalable production across multiple labs and facilities

These advancements are powered by a newly developed nanomaterials complex and Rise’s proprietary diffusion process. By leveraging higher reactant concentrations, the Company can now produce more complex particles at consistent quality, directly enhancing manufacturing throughput and scalability.

“Our breakthrough represents a step-change in how nano-optic lenses can be manufactured at scale,” said Inas Said, Founder and CEO of Rise Nano Optics. “Doubling our production capacity provides us with the foundation to meet surging global demand for preventative vision care while ensuring our technology is accessible to millions.”

Strategic Outlook

The enhanced production model is designed for swift replication, providing a clear pathway to accelerate market entry in the US$160 billion global eyewear market, including the US$1.6 billion diabetic lens segment.

Rise continues to advance toward final product approval and registration, anticipated by the end of September 2025, supporting the Company’s Q3 2025 North American launch strategy.

As previously announced, Rise is progressing its regulatory strategy and anticipates securing final product approval and registration by the end of September 2025. This milestone will pave the way for the launch of its North American market penetration strategy in Q3 2025. In parallel, Rise is advancing its capital markets initiatives, with plans to list on the Canadian Securities Exchange (“CSE”) under the ticker symbol “EYE,” followed by expansion into international markets.
