According to researchers from the faculty of medicine at the Technion, successful filtering of light in the 220-530 nm range and reductions in light intensity would decrease the risk of developing these conditions.

Rise’s SpectraGuard patented nano-particle light filtering technology can block 100% UV light and up to 90% of intense 400–600nm light, including blue light, providing more comprehensive light protection for patient’s eyes, and all without overly darkening their world.

Next Generation R&D

In addition to creation of transparent lenses that do not require tinting, Rise’s second-generation solutions will focus on clinical applications of our advanced nanotechnology to engineer lens solutions that address multiple degenerative eye diseases. This will include lenses capable of preventing or mitigating the progress of diabetes-related cataracts and retinopathy.
